Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown dance reality show, India’s Best Dancer Season 4, will add a filmy tadka to your weekend as the episodes are set to take viewers on a nostalgic journey through the iconic ‘Eras of Bollywood’. The contestants will pay tribute to Hindi cinema with performances inspired by the evolving styles of Bollywood across different decades.
Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu will join the show as a guest alongside the ‘E.N.T’ specialists – Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis.
Akina aka Akanksha Mishra
Contestant Akina aka Akanksha Mishra from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, along with her choreographer Subhranil Paul, will mesmerize the audience with a breathtaking performance to the melodious track ‘Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Main’ from the cult classic film ‘Ajanabee.’
Complimenting Akanksha Mishra, Anurag Basu says, “When you guys were performing on this song, the original song and its visuals kept coming to mind intermittently, creating a collage of Rajesh Khanna, Zeenat Aman, and this act. Akina, outstanding, very beautiful, and you portrayed this entire song so well from start to finish.”
