Who plays the lead role of Kartik in Sun Neo’s Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, shared, “Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of the bond between a brother and sister. My sister lives in Banaras, as we cannot meet every year, she sends me a rakhi, and we celebrate by talking on video calls and sharing our feelings. I recall a special memory when I was ill with typhoid.
She was there for me and tied a rakhi on my wrist, assuring me that I would get better soon. Despite being unwell for a few days, I felt completely fine after that. I believe I recovered because of her rakhi, which made me feel special and happy.”
Stuti Vinkle
Who plays the lead role of Phooli in Sun Neo’s Saajha Sindoor, shared, “Raksha Bandhan always brings back memories of the special bond I share with my brother Srijan and my cousin Srishti. It’s just the three of us who celebrate this festival in our home, as we don’t typically observe Raksha Bandhan for some reason.
I still cherish the memory of when my brother, just 10 or 11 years old, saved up 50-60 rupees and bought me earrings from our school workshop. He kept it a secret for two days—it was so sweet. Another time, he gave me all his savings to get something special for himself. There are many who show their care through actions rather than words. I can feel their love and protection, whether directly or indirectly.”
Lakshay Khurana
Who plays the lead role of Aditya in Sun Neo’s Ishq Jabariya, said, “More than just Rakhi, it’s about the pure love and care I have for my sister. The relationship we share goes beyond the typical brother-sister bond; it’s almost like a father-daughter relationship. I cherish a memorable moment from my life when I gave my first paycheck as a model to my sister.
It was a proud moment for me, and my parents were also very touched by the gesture. I truly believe that when you earn and share your earnings with your family or donate to a good cause, it comes back to you many times over.”
Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya follows Vaishnavi (Brinda Dahal), an orphan who sees Chhathi Maiyya (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) as her mother. Ishq Jabariya tells the story of Gulki (Siddhi Sharma) and her struggles to become an air hostess. Saajha Sindoor depicts Phooli (Stuti Vinkle), who is labeled an unmarried widow after her groom dies on their wedding day.
